Played volleyball for three years in high school...enjoys shopping, going to the beach, volleyball, working out and playing cards with the boys...watches TV reality shows like Dr. 90210 ('because Dr. Rey is a black belt in Taekwondo"), Unsolved Mysteries, Forensic Science and Court TV...her three older brothers have achieved great success in Taekwondo: Jean won a silver medal at the 1995 World Championships; Steven is a two-time Olympic gold medalist and four-time world champion; and Mark has won three World Championship medals including a gold in 2005...Diana, along with Steven and Mark, became the first three siblings in any sport to win World Championship titles at the same event when they achieved the feat in 2005 at the World Taekwondo Championships in Madrid, Spain (they were coached by oldest brother Jean)...in addition to her mother's Latin cooking, Diana enjoys a good chicken-fried steak with mashed potatoes and corn, as well as sushi and Thai food...before a competition she eats a bagel with cream cheese and some apple juice...her favorite athlete (besides her brothers) is Jackie Joyner Kersee...favorite movies are Click, Dumb and Dumber, and foreign films...loves music so much that her IPod has a mix of Oldies, 80's, Alternative and more...lists Garmisch, Germany, as her favorite place visited for a competition. "You could see the mountains, trees and pond from my window at the hotel. It was beautiful!"

Did You Know?: After finishing her undergraduate degree, Diana would like to pursue a master's degree in education. "Education is a very important aspect of my life and something I try to balance with my athletic career. One day I also would like to be a coach for the Junior & Senior National Team."...she would also like to run a marathon and do a triathlon one day.
