Began Taekwondo when he was five years old...Graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of St. Thomas with a degree in Finance and a minor in Philosophy...He is currently enrolled in the Champions School of Real Estate to renew his license as a realtor...Was a part of sports history when he won the 2005 World Taekwondo Championships in the featherweight division, as his brother Steven and sister Diana also captured world titles at the same event, making them the first trio of siblings to win world championships in the same sport in the same year...also won silver at the 2003 World Taekwondo Championships and bronze at the 1999 World Taekwondo Championships when he was the youngest male ever to medal at the event at 17 years of age...Nine time Junior National Champion (1990-98)...Three time Junior National Team Member (1995-98)...1998 USTU Junior Male Athlete of the Year...2005 USA Taekwondo Male Co-Athlete of the Year along with brother Steven Lopez...enjoys playing volleyball, dancing and going out on weekends in his spare time.
